There are more protections as a medical marijuana patient. In Massachusetts you can possess the following amounts with a MMJ card.
Flower: Up to 60 days’ supply may be recommended, which is determined to be around 10 oz.
Concentrates: 1 gram = 5.3 grams of raw flower. This suggests that there is a maximum of approximately 50 g of
concentrate for medical patients.

You can be approved for a same day medical marijuana certification within minuets. A temporary ID is sent via email or printed in office for you the same day. The physical copy is received in the mail within weeks of registering online with the state’s Medical Use of Marijuana Program.

There are many medical conditions that qualify for medical Marijuana Treatment. A debilitating medical condition includes

“Debilitating” is defined in the Regulations as “causing weakness, cachexia, wasting syndrome, intractable pain, or nausea, or impairing strength or ability, and progressing to such an extent that one or more of a patient’s major life activities is substantially limited.”
